Beloved Mother, Mrs. Judy Ann Scott Smith, age 79, passed away on Thursday, December 31, 2020. Born July 5, 1941 to Stanley and Annie Lou Pierce Scott, of Sylvania, Georgia, Judy’s life was filled with love for her family.
Judy was the loving and dynamic wife of the late Jackie Pat Smith and the cherished mother of Scott Smith, Hendersonville, Tennessee, Kim Pidcock (Scott), Augusta, Georgia, and Stan Smith (Tina) of Graysville; Tennessee. She had six awesome grandchildren, Alexandria, Victoria, Sophia, and Lila Pidcock and Olivia and Shepherd Smith. She loved each one very much. She had one brother Dennis (Linda) of Sylvania, Georgia, whom she adored, and two wonderful nieces, Amy and Karen.
Judy will be remembered as the beautiful bank teller at The First National Bank of Cartersville, Georgia. She worked there for many years and made many good friends along the way. She was a fiercely hard worker, had an eye for fashion and beautiful clothing, and was a true lover of “Jackie P”. Together they built a life full of friendship and celebration. The Georgia Peace Officers convention was one of Judy (and Jack’s) favorite places to be, along with a good ole Georgia/Florida football game in Jacksonville. Judy loved her children intensely and wanted the very best for each of them.
Judy was preceded in death by her parents and husband. In lieu of covid, private graveside services will be held to honor her on Friday, January 8, 2021, at Sunset Memory Gardens in Cartersville, Georgia. She will be greatly missed.
