Alexander Joseph Gambino

GAMBINO - Alexander J. "Alex" of Atlanta, GA, formerly of East Amherst, NY, passed away September 10, 2026, at age 84. Proud U.S. Army Veteran (1962-64), lifelong Teamster, and co-founder of ANTEX Building Corporation in East Amherst. He later relocated to Atlanta, where he operated a home improvement business with his son and drove a private school bus in retirement. An avid outdoorsman who loved hunting and fishing.

He was preceded in death by parents, Joseph and Edith Gambino, and sister Edie Kaye. Devoted father of Alexis (Gary) Nelson and Russell (Lisa) Gambino. Loving grandfather of Eric, Robbie, Melody, Joseph, and Ace; proud great-grandfather of Bryce, Moses, Meadow, and Hector.
