Aubrey Marcea Verser

Aubrey Marcea Verser born in Marietta, GA on July 16, 1964 to Aubrey Eldon and Joyce Verser passed away peacefully after a courageous battle with cancer on August 22, 2026.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Aubrey and Jo Verser, and his grandparents, Ben and Oma Boling of Kansas and Furman McCammon and Garnett Verser of Arkansas.

A devoted husband and friend to so many, Marcea is survived by his loving wife, Amanda, his brother and sister-in-law Brad and Melanie Verser, his aunts Elaine Posh, Aline Meyer, Carolyn Hunt and uncle and aunt Jan and Sharlotte Boling, his brother-in-law and sister-in-law Ellis and Michelle Richardson, his mother-in-law Latrelle Richardson and many amazing cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.

Marcea was a graduate of Wills High School in Smyrna, GA and Georgia State University. He was a trumpet player, music lover, a soccer player and avid soccer fan. He was a licensed private pilot who loved travel, hiking, woodworking, sports, classic automobile restoration and auto racing.

He was a joy to be around and a bright light to the many people who knew him. He was a lifelong learner with the gift of gab, and he never met a stranger.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, Wellstar Community Hospice c/o Wellstar Foundation, Tunnel to Towers Foundation or a charity or church of your choice.

Thank you to the many wonderful medical professionals who helped Marcea in his fight. We are very grateful for your hard work and dedication.
