Barbara Ann Crosby

Barbara Ann Crosby - Age 79 of Sylvester, GA. formally of Arcadia, FL and Petal, MS passed away on Wednesday March 25th 2026 at Harbor Grace Hospice in Atlanta, GA. Barbara was born on June 11, 1946 in Zanesville, OH. She graduated in 1964 from Riverview High School in Sarasota, FL. Barbara was a bookkeeper before retiring. Besides raising her two children, Barbara was proud of her years spent as a mentor with her Rainbow Girls in DeSoto County, FL. She enjoyed crocheting, fishing, crossword puzzles and her days out thrifting and boutique shopping with her Granddaughter Presslie. You could always find her with a book or a crochet needle in her hand.

She is survived by her son, Luke Hagan and his wife, Brittany; bonus son, James "Jeff" Miller and wife, Sheril; granddaughters, Presslie Stroud and Hannah Amick; Grandson Jesse (Esther) Bonagua; great­grandsons Jaxson, Weston and Niko; great-granddaughter Isabella, beloved Sister in laws, Evelyn Waller and Grace Cannon; step-children, Patricia Ann (Richard) Hendrick, Linda Gail (Bob) Porterfield, Donna Suzette (Larry) McLean, and Donna Rene Crosby; an additional eleven grandchildren and twenty-three great grandchildren, special friends and neighbors for over 30 years Billy and Dorothy Hines and her "baby dog" grand­dog Harley.

Barbara is preceded in death by her husband of 29 years, Donald Carson Crosby, Sr. and her daughter, Shelley Amick. A private celebration of life is being planned at a later date. Leaf Cremation is entrusted with the arrangements.
