Barbara G. McCrea

Barbara Grantham McCrea, Pine Mountain, GA passed away on August 25, 2026. She was born December 21, 1943, in Douglas, GA and the daughter of Tommy and Pauline Grantham. She was preceded in death by her husband James Bernard McCrea. Barbara was a graduate of Coffee County High School in 1961. She continued education to earn her master's degree and served as a School Teacher in Douglas, GA until she retired. Barbara's hobbies included painting nature and wildlife subjects and making jewelry. Barbara's surviving family members include children Derek and Paulette McCrea, brother Tommy Grantham, daughter in law Sheila McCrea, grandchildren Devin and Jeffrey McCrea, Logan Alberga (wife Amanda), and Zoe Grimes, and great grandchildren Roen and Luke Alberga.
