Catherine Ann Flanagan

Catherine (Cathi) Ann Flanagan, 69, of Fayetteville, GA, passed away on November 18, 2025. She was born on November 9, 1956, in Chicago, IL, and was the daughter of Louise Ann Snyder and the late Richard Davis Snyder of Oak Park, IL. She was also preceded in death by her brother, Joseph Snyder.

Cathi graduated from Oak Park River Forest High School in Oak Park, IL. She later moved to Atlanta, GA, where she began her family. She was an avid reader and sports fan who loved hockey and baseball. She enjoyed tending to her plants, crocheting, and especially spending time with the ladies of Sit and Stitch, creating projects for local charities. Above all, she loved singing in the church choir. Cathi was a dedicated member of the New City Church choir in Fairburn, GA, where she had attended since 2003.

She was a loving daughter, sister, mother, grandmother, and friend, and the world is a little darker without her.

Cathi is survived by her mother, Louise Snyder; her siblings, John, James, and Mary Snyder; her daughters, Michelle (Joshua) Petty and Kelly Paquin; her beloved grandchildren, Hailey King and Drew Paquin; as well as many nieces and nephews; and her treasured fur-grandchildren.

The family invites all to attend a Celebration of Life on November 30, 2025, at New City Church, 320 Dividend Drive, Peachtree City, GA 30269, at 3:00 p.m. A repast will follow at the church.
