Christopher John Tully

November 28, 1966 — July 23, 2025

Decatur

Christopher John Tully from Marietta, Georgia, passed away peacefully on July 23, 2025, at the age of 58, surrounded by loved ones.

Born on November 28, 1966, Chris was known for his kindness, honesty, and loyalty. He was the kind of person who told you exactly what he thought - and you could always depend on him. He had a deep love for animals, especially his dogs, who were his cherished companions.

Chris worked as a skilled body technician at Ed Voyles Automotive Group for 11 years, and prior to that he worked at Magnum Collision.

He was respected not only for his talent and work ethic but also for the strong friendships he built with his coworkers. His work friends played a big role in his life, and those relationships brought him support, laughter, and a deep sense of connection.

Chris will be deeply missed by all who knew him - family, friends, coworkers, and everyone lucky enough to know his loyalty, humor, and heart.

He was preceded by his parents, James E. Tully and Mary A. Tully, and his sister, Loretta M. Tully.

He is survived by his brother, James E. Tully Jr.; his sisters, Michele Tully and Maureen McTyre (Scott McTyre); his beloved nephews and nieces: Lucas McTyre (Caitlin McTyre), Adam Culpepper, Megan Freeman (Cody Fleeman), Jake and Grace McTyre and his family at Ed Voyles.

His memory will live on in the love he gave and the lives he touched.

The family will receive friends at the church on Wednesday, July 30, 2025, at 11:00 AM at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to your local animal shelter or to Family Hospice Foundation.
