Daniel Todd Freed

Daniel Todd Freed, 65, of Atlanta, Georgia, passed away on May 7th, 2026.

He was born on October 16th, 1960, in Miami, Florida, and was the Son of Daniel Jack Freed and Marjorie June Freed.

He is preceded in death by said parents.

Daniel T. Freed attended Miami Beach Senior High, where he developed a passion for golf and joined the sports team. This passion led to him joining the collegiate golf team and winning tournaments while attending Santa Fe Community College in Gainesville, Florida. Daniel T. Freed was an enthusiastic entrepreneur at heart, creating many businesses associated with his passions, including plant nurseries, landscaping, farming, construction, and real estate.

Daniel T. Freed is survived by his son, Daniel Jackson Freed, aged 38, and his daughter, Kira Jordan Freed, aged 28. He is also survived by his grandchildren: twin grandsons Conner and Cooper, aged 8; granddaughter Delilah, aged 4; grandson Helios, aged 3; and newborn granddaughter Minerva.

A memorial service is planned for October 16th, 2026, where part of his cremated remains will be laid to rest at Prairie Creek Conservation Cemetery in Gainesville, FL. Fruit trees and wildflowers will be planted around his burial site.
