Denise Hartt, 75, entered eternal rest on February 23, 2026, surrounded by the love of her family. Born on February 21, 1951, in Long Island , Denise carried her warmth, strength, and vibrant spirit with her throughout her life.

She was preceded in death by her father, Robert Hallaran; her mother, Jean Burke; and her brother, Robert “Rickey” Hallaran.

Denise is lovingly survived by her two daughters, Laura Haight and Diana Geiling, who were the pride and joy of her life. She is also survived by her brothers, Kevin Hallaran and Shawn Hallaran; and her sister, June Woodward, who was not only her sister but her very best friend — the two truly were “two peas in a pod,” sharing laughter, shopping trips, and countless cherished memories together.

Her legacy continues through her grandchildren: Amanda Blackburn, Christopher Haight, Tyler McKillop, Kaylie McKillop, and Matthew Haight; as well as her seven great-grandchildren, who brought her immense happiness and purpose.

Denise had a special love for the beach and treasured the times she spent taking her grandchildren to Galveston creating memories filled with sunshine, laughter, and love. She devoted her life to raising two beautiful daughters and poured her heart into her role as a grandmother and great-grandmother. Nothing brought her greater joy than spending time with her family.

She also held a special place in her heart for her beloved nephews, Brian and Kenneth whom she loved dearly.

Denise will be remembered for her loving heart, her infectious laughter, her love of shopping, and the way she brought light and joy to those around her. Her family was her world, and her love will continue to live on in each of them.

She will be deeply missed and forever cherished.
