Donna Shaffer Shannon

Donna Shaffer Shannon, 74, of Marietta, GA. Passed away on February 3, 2021. Born in Johnstown, PA, attended Ferndale High School (class of 1964) and earned a degree in English from the University of Pittsburgh. Preceded in death by son Todd Shannon and parents Nellie and Homer Shaffer (Johnstown, PA). Survived by daughter Laurel Mocklar, son-in-law Mike, granddaughters Ana and Zoe (Marietta, GA); brother Paul Shaffer, sister-in-law Donna, nephew Andrew and family (State College, PA); ex-husband Steve Shannon (Ventura, CA); as well as aunts, an uncle, and many cousins. She was devoted to her family and made the world a more beautiful place. Services will be held privately. Should you wish, the family requests donations to the Atlanta Community Food Bank in her memory.
