Donna Sue Williams

April 5, 1948 — July 10, 2025

Kennesaw

Donna Sue Williams, of Kennesaw, Georgia, passed away peacefully on July 10, 2025, at the age of 77. Born on April 5, 1948, in Selinsgrove, Pennsylvania, Sue was a beloved mother, grandmother, and friend whose life was marked by kindness, creativity, and a vibrant, outgoing spirit.

On March 27, 2025, Sue was diagnosed with a glioblastoma brain tumor. She underwent surgery on May 7, but due to the tumor’s proximity to her brain stem, it could not be fully removed. On June 15, she returned home under hospice care, where she spent her final days surrounded by her family and her beloved dog, Koko.

Sue was preceded in death by her loving parents, Ellen Jane and Donald Stiber; her brother, Jim Stiber; and her aunt, Nancy Dickinson.

She is survived by her devoted daughter, Christy Riddle; son-in-law, David Riddle; and her cherished grandchildren, Lilly and Dylan, who brought endless joy to her life. She also leaves behind her sister-in-law, Ann Stiber; nephews Steve Stiber (wife Stacy and their children Casen, Reagan, and Avery) and Scott Stiber (and his children Adalynn and Charlie); and her cousin, Sue Ellen Dickinson, and her son, Slade.

Sue enjoyed a long career with BellSouth before retiring and pursuing her entrepreneurial passion by founding An Eye for Order, a home organization company that showcased her natural talent for beauty, order, and balance.

She found great joy in her dogs, tending to her garden, caring for her houseplants, and hosting unforgettable gatherings—especially her Christmas and poker parties. She loved cooking, specializing in dishes like her secret-recipe chili and deviled eggs. She treasured trips with her friends and long walks on the beach.

A celebration of Sue’s life will be held at 11:00 a.m. on August 16 at First United Lutheran Church in Kennesaw, where family and friends will gather to remember her warmth, joyful spirit, and unwavering love. All who knew and loved her are welcome to attend.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her memory to the ASPCA, honoring her lifelong compassion for animals.
