Elizabeth Leigh Schuck

Elizabeth (Beth) L. Schuck, 74, of Loganville, GA, passed away peacefully at home on July 1, 2026.

Mrs. Schuck was born on May 18, 1952, at Crawford Long Hospital in Atlanta, GA, to James and Kathryn Sumerford Murray.

Beth started working at the age of 18 at the Trust Company Bank in Atlanta. Various places included Georgia Engine, Plymart, Porter Paints, Sears, and retiring from Allgood Pest Solutions.

She was preceded in death by her parents, James and Kathryn Murray; grandparents Elaine and Madison Sumerford; Aunt Laney Sumerford; and son-in-law Tony Turner.

Mrs. Schuck is survived by her husband, Douglas M. Schuck, of Loganville; her children, Cindy Turner of Monroe, GA, and Jennifer (Scott) Mewborn of Lawrenceville, GA; brother Jim (Julie) Murray of Plainfield, NH; three grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; one nephew; and a dear childhood friend, Patti Hamilton.

In retirement, Beth enjoyed traveling with her husband to places like Daytona Beach, North GA, and the New England states. She loved the Georgia Bulldogs and the Atlanta Braves, plus her daily soap operas.

She especially loved all her puppy dogs and all the love they gave.

The Schuck family requests that, in lieu of flowers, people can make a contribution to the ASPCA.
