George Schiwy

George Schiwy of Marietta, beloved husband, father, and brother, battled colon and liver cancer. He went to be with Jesus on January 22, 2021, surrounded by people who loved him. He is survived by his wife Edith, his daughters Anna and Isabella, and his brother Joachim. He is predeceased by his parents Paul and Hedwig Schiwy. Originally from Germany, George grew up in New York City. He was a very hard worker and continued to work even when sick. The two loves of his life were his garden and his family. He will be remembered for his great sense of humor, kind nature, and good heart.
