George Morris White

George Morris White departed this life on July 1, 2026 while living and working in Canton, Georgia. George was born in San Diego County, California on October 27, 1966.

George was an individual who constantly strove to improve himself and support and encourage others. He completed service in the California Conservation Corp, completed his GED, then began the life-long process of an education in computing, including course work from Sierra College and UC Davis as well as many software certification programs. He rose from a computer tech to a software expert and on to a computer engineer. He used his skills to keep things running smoothly behind the scenes and worked for several very large corporations where he received very positive reviews and commendations and excelled at his work.

On December 1, 1988, George married Naomi Copeland in Lake Tahoe, California. George and Naomi loved and supported each other for almost 38 years until George’s untimely death. He was a very supportive and protective husband. They lived in California, Massachusetts and Georgia.

George and Naomi were members of the church of Christ. {“And I heard a voice from heaven saying, “Write this: Blessed are the dead who die in the Lord from now on.” “Blessed indeed,” says the Spirit, “that they may rest from their labors, for their deeds follow them!” Revelation 14:13}

George leaves behind his wife, Naomi and several in-laws and their families (including nieces and nephews), as well as his beloved dog, Gidget.
