Helen Houlder

It is with profound sorrow that we announce the passing of our beloved Helen, who left us on 16th February 2026 at the age of 66.

Born on 2nd October 1959, Helen grew into a woman whose warmth, strength, and kindness touched everyone she met. Her laughter could brighten any room, and her generosity and comforting presence left a lasting mark on all who knew her.

Helen’s heart belonged to her family. She was a devoted mother, a loving sister, and a steadfast friend. She took joy in supporting those she loved, always offering her care, guidance, and encouragement. Her home was a place of comfort, laughter, and love, where everyone felt welcomed and valued.A lover of life and health, Helen was always active and committed to her fitness. She could often be found at the gym, exercising with dedication and energy, a reflection of her vibrant spirit and zest for life.

Helen also embraced the traditions of Trinidad and Tobago with joy, especially during Carnival. She loved playing Mas, celebrating with color, music, and laughter, bringing happiness to everyone around her. Her spirit was infectious, and her enthusiasm for life inspired all who were fortunate to know her.

She leaves behind her loving son, Jordan; her brothers,Terry, Lenny, Michael (Pepe), and Colin; her sisters, Janice and Patricia; her sisters-in-law, Avenelle, Ramona and Milly, nieces Karen, Nadia, Wendy, and Shelly, nephews, Robert, Nicholas, and Joel; extended family; and a wide circle of friends, all of whom will carry her memory in their hearts.

Helen’s life was a blessing, her memory a treasure, and her love a gift that will remain with us always. She will be remembered for her strength, compassion, and unwavering loyalty, and she will be deeply missed by all whose lives she touched.

May her soul rest in eternal peace.
