James “Jim” Francis Buckle III, 71, of Lithia Springs, Georgia, passed away peacefully on April 27, 2025, in Marietta, Georgia.

Born on December 15, 1953, in Newark, New Jersey, Jim was the beloved son of the late James and Anna Mae Buckle. He had called Lithia Springs home for the past 30 years, where he was known for his easygoing nature, quick wit, and generous heart.

Jim spent much of his life working in the restaurant industry, where he took pride in his craft as a cook. His most recent role was at Tiffany’s Kitchen, where he brought comfort and flavor to countless patrons and colleagues.

A devoted sports fan, Jim had a lifelong love for the New York Yankees, the Dallas Cowboys, and the New York Rangers. He especially enjoyed quiet moments at home with his beloved dog, Rocky, who was his constant companion and source of comfort.

Jim is survived by his brother Peter and sister-in-law Wanda Buckle; his sister Anne and brother-in-law James Shipman; and his sister Patricia and brother-in-law Kevin Thompson. He also leaves behind five nieces and nephews and eight great-nieces and great-nephews, all of whom he adored.

Jim will be remembered for his kind spirit, loyal heart, and the many laughs he shared with those fortunate enough to know him. He will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and all whose lives he touched
