James Daniel Mealer

April 3, 1956 — January 10, 2024

James Daniel “Danny” Mealer, 67, went home to be with his beloved wife Jeannie and son Michael on January 10, 2024.

Danny left behind his sister, Judy (Wes) Knott; younger brother, Scott Mealer and niece, Jennifer (Jerry) Blankenship.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Christine Mathis; father, James Mealer; several uncles, aunts, grandparents and cousins.

Services will be held at Maple Grove Baptist Church in Dalton, GA on Saturday, January 27, 2024 at 2:00 PM.

Mr. Mealer’s remains will be scattered over Amicalola Falls at a later date
