Jerry Mack Shoemaker

Jerry M. Shoemaker, age 82, of Mableton, Georgia passed away on May 22, 2026. He was born on July 12,1943, in Fruithurst, Alabama and was the son of the late Gilmore and Marvelle Shoemaker. Jerry is survived by his brothers Larry and Ronald (Gloria) Shoemaker; nieces Rhonda (Ken) Sheppard, Nicole (Michael) Creecy, Crystal (Clint) Foster; nephew Brian (Sherri Lee) Shoemaker; and several great nieces and nephews.

After graduating from Cedartown High School, Jerry earned a Bachelor of Science from Jacksonville State University in Jacksonville, Alabama. He proudly served his community as a licensed Master Plumber and an inspector for the City of Marietta. Jerry was always willing to lend a hand, his wisdom and talents to help out family and friends. He will be greatly missed by all.

A celebration of life will be held by Jerry’s family at Northview Cemetery in Cedartown, Georgia.
