John Robert Butz

John Butz, 65, of Stockbridge, Georgia passed away Sunday, February 25, 2024, surrounded by his children. John was born in Portland, Oregon on May 14, 1958, adopted son of the late Loretta Dufresne Butz and Robert Butz of Portland, Oregon.

John is survived by his children Melissa Thomas (William), Jennifer Cannone (Conrad), and John Daniel Butz (Brandy) and grandchildren Grace Butz, Noah Butz, and Gavin Cannone.

John was a loving father, grandfather, and friend to many. He will be remembered for his love of Christ, sense of humor, and love for his family and friends. His legacy will forever be imprinted on the hearts of those he touched.

John did not want a service. His family will respect his wishes and celebrate his life together. A memorial post was made on Facebook for family and friends to share their condolences and memories.
