Joyce Jennie Nolan

Joyce Jennie Nolan, 76, of Woodstock, Georgia, passed away on May 24, 2026. Joyce was born in Clearwater, Florida, on May 6, 1950, to parents William and Louise Nolan.

She was preceded in death by her twin sister, Lynda Ann Nolan-Miller. She is survived by her sisters, Marilyn Nolan-Johnson and Michele Bensen; brothers, James Nolan and Larry Nolan; many extended family members and friends who will cherish her memory.

Joyce was a longtime Jacksonville, Florida resident, a graduate of Andrew Jackson High School, Class of 1968, a graduate of South Georgia College, 1970, and the University of Georgia, 1972. She was Vice President of the Senior class in high school, a cheerleader for the Jax Jaguars of the WFL in 1966, and at the University of Georgia. She is remembered most for always smiling or laughing in high school and such a positive outlook on life. Her passions were singing, playing music, spending time with her family, and staying close to those she loved. She will be remembered for her love, kindness, and devotion to those she held dear.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, August 1st, at 1:00 p.m. at North Jacksonville Baptist Church, 8531 N. Main Street, Jacksonville, FL 32218.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her memory to the American Heart Association or the American Kidney Fund.
