Karen Latricia Jinright

May 5, 1955 — July 7, 2023

Daughter, sister, mother, grandmother and friend joined her husband Ted Jinright, twin sister

Sharon Jones and her older brother Robert Baker, Jr. when she passed away on July 7, 2023.

Karen grew up and lived most of her life in East Cobb, Marietta, GA. She lived for a brief

period of time in Fort Walton Beach, FL. She retired from the Kroger grocery chain in 2020 after 27

years, the last 13 years having worked at the Shallowford Falls location on Johnson Ferry Road in

Marietta, GA. Karen enjoyed fishing and camping whenever she had the opportunity and was a diehard

fan of the Braves baseball team.

She is survived by two daughters, Ursula Brackett of Acworth, GA, and Angel Busby of

Marietta, GA, eight grandchildren, one brother, Ronald Baker of Spokane, Washington, one sister,

Suzanne Cent of Marietta, GA, her mother, Ellen Joyce Winstead of Marietta, GA, many nieces and

nephews as well as many friends.

Karen was a member of the local branch of The Way

International. A celebration of her life will be held by her fellow

members on September 23, 2023. Karen’s remains will be interred next

to her sister, Sharon, at Marietta Campground Cemetery in Marietta,

GA. A date for her memorial service has not yet been set.
