Kerry Russell Anderson, 38, of Woodstock, GA passed peacefully at home on Sunday, April 12, 2026. She is survived by her husband, James Ridgway, of Woodstock; her mother, Joan Cable Anderson, of Tega Cay, SC; her 4-legged boys, Duke, Oliver and Tuff; aunts Elizabeth Colonna, Molly McCue, Connie Latner and Sherri Lawson; uncles Andy Anderson and Lowell Cable; and numerous cousins. She was pre-deceased by her father, William Ward Anderson, III; and grandparents Bill Anderson, Libby Bayley and W.R. and Pauline Cable.
Kerry graduated SCAD with a BFA in interactive gaming design. She worked as a graphics coordinator, designer, and programmer for several years, before following her passion of spreading color and joy as a self-employed fairy who shared the gift of fairy hair. She was a creative soul and cared deeply about being a loud voice for what is right. She and James volunteered at many fan-conventions in the Atlanta area and developed a loving community of friends all over the country. She loved to paint and to create arts and crafts out of found materials. She was an avid collector of plushies which she used to brighten her days and the days of those around her. She loved photography and took pictures of everything from friends and family to animals to plates of food. Kerry both found and made art, creativity, and love wherever she walked.
Kerry was a loving, compassionate soul who saw every human as an individual and every creature on the earth as something to be treasured. She will be dearly missed by her family and by her community of friends. Wherever there is magic, joy, color, and light in this world, Kerry will be there in spirit. Her beautiful light no longer graces this earth but she is with her dad which makes both of them content and happy souls.
