Linda Sue Gallo

Linda Gallo, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and sister, passed away on January 1, 2026, in Acworth, Georgia. She was 77 years old.

Linda was born in Surry County, North Carolina, where she was part of a large and loving family. She is preceded in death by her parents, Richard and Rena Stewart, and her sister, Rena Faye Gibson (Jeffrey).

As a young woman, she moved to Cleveland, Ohio, where she met the love of her life and husband of fifty-six years, Theodore (Ted) Gallo. For the rest of her life, Linda and Ted lived and loved across the country as they raised their family. She loved her two children fiercely. Linda never met a stranger and had a laugh that was contagious.

She is survived by her devoted husband, Theodore Gallo; her children Richard Gallo and Michelle Cullison (Scott); her grandchildren, Angelo Luna( Lexi), Mia Luna-Murphy (Christian), Anthony Luna, Miranda Cullison, Luke Cullison, and Samuel Cullison; her great-grandchildren, Jonathan and Xander; her siblings, R J. Stewart (Sherri), Kay Lawson, and Ricky Stewart (Shelia); her sister-in-law, Dorothea Jaklitsch (Gary), and her many nieces and nephew.

While no formal services will be held, the family invites those who knew and loved Linda to gather and remember her wherever they may be. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you make donations in Linda’s honor to a local charity that cares for people in your community. While Linda may have hung up her dancing shoes, she will be the music in our hearts forever.
