Lisa May Kinsey, 60, of Rome, Georgia passed away on June 06, 2026.

Mrs. Lisa Kinsey was born on June 03, 1966 to the late Raymond Earl Lindsey and Jeanette Lindsey. She is preceded in death by her husband, James Lee Kinsey, Jr. (Jimmy); her parents, Earl and Jeanette and her aunt, Lorine Laney.

Lisa is survived by her son, James Lee Kinsey, III of Rome; her daughter, Katie Sue Jernigan (Michael) of Rome; granddaughter, Kaylee Jernigan; sisters, Donna Holcombe (Danny) of Adairsville and Nancy Taylor (Joe) of Rome; brother-in-laws, Wayne Kinsey (Sheila) of Adairsville and Chris Kinsey (Jolene) of Rome; sister-in-law, Charlotte Mullins of Rome; nieces and nephews, Colty, Zach, Tyler, Lily, Monica, Jacob, Justin, Maddie, Delayna, Lexi and Oakly; her great nieces and nephews, Dallas, Allison, Aiden, Gabi, Melly, Holden, Braylyn, Calliope, Oaklynn and Stetson.

To know Lisa was to to know she would do anything for anyone in need. Lisa’s favorite color was yellow and her favorite thing to do was spend time with her grandbaby and her family and friends. She made numerous good friends throughout her life. She was and always will be loved and deeply missed.

Per her children’s wishes, Lisa will be cremated and a celebration of life will be held at a later date.
