Lucas Evan Moody

Lucas Evan Moody, 33, of Cartersville, Georgia went home to be with our heavenly father on June 05, 2026.

He was born April 19, 1993 in Middleburg Heights, Ohio and was the son of the Donald and Darlene Moody.

He was also preceded in death by his mother, Darlene Moody.

Luke enjoyed being outside fishing, hunting, and gardening. He crafted beautiful flower beds for his mother. He also enjoyed cooking and baking.

Luke was a loving partner and father. He enjoyed taking his family on adventures. He enjoyed being an uncle to his nieces and nephews. He will be remembered for his kind heart and sense of humor. He was loved by many.

He is survived by his father, Donald Moody; his life partner, Jasmine Maben; his children, Jenelle, Lukka, and Malachi; his sister, Sarah Moody and husband, Edward Massie; brothers, Donald Moody and wife, Kristen, James Moody and wife, Kristin, Abraham Moody and wife Harlee, Thomas Moody and wife, Lisa and Levi Moody; 12 nieces and nephews and numerous aunts and uncles.

A celebration of life will be held on June 28, 2026 at 3PM at Redemption Church, 105 Broadus Road NE, Rome, GA 30161.
