Lucille. S. Turpin , 90, Flintstone, GA went to heaven on May 13, 2025.
She was born August 4, 1934 in Milwaukee, WI and was the daughter of the late Edwin Charles Stofflet and Anna Frederica Bertha Grueshow. She graduated high school from Girls Technical School in Milwaukee, Wisonsin and married her sweetheart, Marion, in 1955. She often did volunteer stuff for veterans. She loved to garden with her husband and cook for her family and loved caring for her grandchildren and dogs. etc. She enjoyed playing with her puppy Manitowoc. She will be greatly missed. Lucille was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and the world is a little darker without her.
Also preceding her in death were her beloved husband of 63 years, Marion Ellis Turpin; her siblings, Robert Stofflet, Edward Stofflett, Laurie Panawash, Caroline St. Pierre, Virginia Kamnisky, Marion Schrank and Shirley Mae Stofflet.
She is survived by her children, Brian M. Turpin, Cindy S. Kennedy, and Laura L. Turpin and two grandchildren, Kyle Kennedy and Ashley Scheyder (husband Riley) and many sister-in-laws, nieces and nephews. Her ashes will be cared for by her beloved son, Brian Turpin.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children’s Hospital or Tunnel to Towers in her name and memory. We would like to thank Our Lady of the Mountains Catholic Church in Jasper, GA for all their love and support through the years .
She would say, "Life is short. Forgive and forget and love your Lord and Savior and others".
