Lyla Rose Ferguson

Lyla Rose Ferguson, 87, of Dallas, GA passed away March 31, 2026. She was born April 5, 1938 to Charles Tanner and Margaret Tanner (Russell) in Providence, Rhode Island.

Lyla was one of nine siblings. She is survived by her brothers Jon Tanner and Dennis Tanner, both of Rhode Island. 

She was preceded in death by brothers Charles Tanner and Russell Tanner and sisters, Dianne Harripersad, Margaret Burns, Susan Kilchriss and Dorothy Tanner.

Lyla and her husband Louis A Ferguson, deceased, had five children, Kevin Ferguson, Keith Ferguson, deceased, LuAnn Barnes, Sue Rumaner and Mary Tobin. Lyla is also survived by her seven grandchildren, Kristopher Barnes, Kevin Barnes, Kelly Barnes, Nathan Amado,

Julianna Ferguson, Sophia Ferguson, Jorja Ferguson and Kai Tobin and two great grandchildren, Alivia and Anderson. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews and will be greatly missed by all.
