Marilyn Jeanette Weber

Marilyn J. Weber, age 88, passed away on July 19, 2026. She was born on January 28, 1938, in Seymour, Indiana, to Luella Leslie and Ward Newkirk.

She was preceded in death by her husband, John J. Weber, and her brothers, Charles E. Newkirk and Wilson E. Newkirk.

She is survived by her children and stepchildren: Janice Tatlock, Joyce Dyer, Patricia (James) Carnahan, Ronald (Tammy) Anderson, Angie (Darren) Cufaude, Elizabeth (David) Stahl, Greg (Lucy) Weber, Rob (Tony) Weber, and Mike (Peggy) Weber; 17 grandchildren; 28 great-grandchildren; 10 great-great-grandchildren; and many nephews and nieces.

Mom lived her life with a deep love for her family and for Jesus, and everything she did flowed from that foundation. She was the hardest-working person I’ve ever known, carrying strong values that guided her through every season of life. She welcomed people with a smile that made them feel instantly at home. Whether she was sitting on the porch, visiting with family and friends, or laughing and playing with her grandchildren, she created a sense of warmth and belonging wherever she was.

Her greatest joy was being surrounded by the people she loved. She found beauty in simple moments—a quiet porch conversation, a shared meal, a child’s laughter—and she taught us to appreciate those moments too.

Her legacy lives on in the love she poured into her family, the faith she lived so sincerely, and the kindness she offered so freely. She leaves behind a life defined not just by what she did, but by the way she made others feel: welcomed, loved, and valued.

She will be greatly missed by all who loved her.
