Marla Goodman, 33, passed away unexpectedly, leaving behind a legacy of love, laughter, and deep devotion to her family and friends. Marla was a bright, spirited, and unforgettable presence — someone who radiated warmth, humor, and authenticity everywhere she went.
Marla was the loving mother of two beautiful daughters, Bella and Charlie, who were the absolute center of her world. Her greatest joy was found in being their mom, and she leaves behind countless memories of tenderness, silliness, and unwavering love with her girls.
She is survived by her mother Betty, father Scott, her stepmother Julie, her sister Marissa, her brother Eric, and her cherished nieces and newest nephew addition, along with extended family members who loved her deeply. She also leaves behind her beloved godmother, Linda, who held a very special place in her life. Marla also leaves behind many close friends who will forever carry her spirit in their hearts.
Marla had a rare gift for making people feel seen, cared for, and appreciated. She lived life with a big heart, a quick wit, and a beautiful openness that drew others to her. She loved her family fiercely and formed bonds that were meaningful and lasting.
She will be remembered for her laughter, her resilience, her thoughtfulness, and the special way she made people feel like they mattered. Her loss leaves an unfillable space in the lives of those who knew and loved her.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to A Little HOPE, a nonprofit organization that supports children grieving the loss of a parent.
Marla will be forever loved, forever missed, and forever carried in our hearts.
