Marley Greyson Hawk, age 20, of Woodstock, Georgia, passed away on January 10, 2026. He was born on September 14, 2005, in Atlanta, Georgia, to Brandon Scott Hawk and Rebecca Marie Ratner.
Marley was a remarkable young man whose bright smile was truly contagious—one that could light up any room and lift anyone’s spirit. He had a deep love for hiking and exploring the wilderness, always finding peace and wonder in nature. Marley also cherished his fish, Biggie Cheese and Ice Cube, caring for them with pride and affection.
Curious by nature, Marley possessed a fascination with the odd, the different, and the unexplained parts of life. He enjoyed literature and had a never-ending desire to learn, always eager to expand his understanding of the world around him. He was an extraordinary and beautiful human being whose presence left a lasting impression on all who knew him.
Marley was preceded in death by his father, Brandon Hawk; his uncle, Jason Ratner; and his grandmother, Nancy Ratner.
He is survived by his loving mother, Rebecca Hawk-Longberry; his stepfather, Nicholas Longberry; his brother, Brandon “Scotty” Hawk, Jr.; his grandfather, Paul Ratner; and countless other family members and friends who will forever cherish his memory.
A Celebration of Life for our beloved Marley will be held on Friday, January 16, 2026, from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Red Top Mountain State Park, located at 100 Red Top Beach Road, Cartersville, Georgia 30121. Family and friends are invited to gather to remember, honor, and celebrate Marley’s life.
