Michael Draper Mcchesney

Predeceased by his parents, Col. Claude M. and Dorcus Draper McChesney, Michael D. McChesney suffered a heart attack and died suddenly at his home in Big Canoe, Jasper, GA. He is survived by his son, Scott Adam McChesney, his ex-wife, Amy Hembree McChesney, and his sister Mona McChesney Smith. Michael had practiced law in Marietta, GA, since 1977, and had recently retired. He was a graduate of John Marshall Law School, attended the University of Georgia as an undergraduate, and graduated high school at Georgia Military Academy. Due to the constraints of Covid19, a small gathering of family and close friends - prayers and a party to celebrate his life - will be held in Marietta on September 16.
