Euharlee

Michael Alva Sisk, passed away peacefully at his home in Euharlee, Georgia on April 18, 2026, at the age of 74. Born on June 20, 1951, in Atlanta, Georgia, Mike lived a life of service, love, and dedication.

Mike was a devoted husband to his beloved wife, Elaine Sisk, with whom he shared 33 years of marriage. Elaine preceded him in death, and Mike often spoke of their reunion in heaven with fond anticipation.

Mike was predeceased by his parents, and his two stepsons, Bo and Tony Robinson, whom he held close in his heart every day. He now joins them in eternal peace.

A cornerstone of his community, Mike retired from a career with the city of Atlanta, where he was known for his diligence and a genuine desire to make a difference. His work was not just a job, but a testament to his selflessness and commitment to improving the lives of others.

An active member of Euharlee Baptist Church, Mike found joy and purpose in his faith and the fellowship it brought. He participated in numerous church activities, always ready with a helping hand.

Mike will be remembered by his stepdaughter, whom he considered his own, Crissy Wood, and her husband, Patrick. He cherished the role of grandfather to two beautiful grandchildren. He was also blessed with great-grandchildren, who filled his days with joy.

His life was enriched by simple pleasures. Mike had a passion for cooking and found delight in sharing meals with family and friends. He was an avid sports fan, with football and baseball being his favorites. Saturdays and Sundays were often spent cheering for Alabama and the Falcons.

Though our hearts are heavy with the loss of Michael Alva Sisk, we find solace in the fact that we will see him again one day.

A service celebrating Michael's life will be held at Euharlee Baptist Church, date and time to be determined.
