Nathan “Scott” Bagley, 53, of Lawrenceville, GA, beloved husband and Pop, won his battle with cancer when he entered into the presence of his Savior on July 20, 2026. He was born in Birmingham, AL, to Majors Robert and Carol Bergen Bagley, on March 23, 1973. He was a 1991 graduate of Olympic High School in Charlotte, NC, and a 2001 graduate of Georgia State University with a Bachelor of Arts in Music Education. He was a valued member of the Mission and Cultural Ministries Department of The Salvation Army Territorial Headquarters. Previously, he served as the Salvation Army Mission Specialist Program Administrator at the same and Assistant Divisional Music Director of The Salvation Army Georgia Divisional Headquarters. He attended Berean Baptist Church, where he played euphonium as a member of the orchestra and brass ensemble.
Scott is survived by his loving wife, Lynn Stefanik Bagley; his daughter, Rachel Wickham-Cook; his parents; his brother Brian (Jeanna) Bagley; two nieces (Zoelle Bagley and Edith Simmons), a nephew (Ronen Bagley), parents-in-law (Majors Bruce and Vicki Stefanik), sister-in-law (Michelle Simmons), and numerous extended family.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Majors Robert and Irene Bagley and Majors Herbert and Gladys Bergen.
A memorial service is scheduled for August 4, 2026, at Berean Baptist Church, located at 1405 Hewatt Road, SW, Lilburn, GA 30047. Visitation will be held at 10:00 AM before the service, which will begin at 11:00 AM.
