Nella Mae Thomas, 87 years old, of Dalton, GA born on April 11, 1936 and received her angel wings to heaven on April 2, 2024. She was born in Cherokee, NC.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Lola Sexton Hughes; father, William Hughes and son, Bradford W. Thomas.
Nella is survived by her loving husband of 72 years, George W Thomas; daughter, Angela Thomas Hopkins; granddaughters, Jennifer Kirk, Michelle Garland and Donna Faye Thomas; several great grandchildren and several great great grandchildren.
Special thanks to Quinton Nursing Home and Hospice for their great care. A family memorial service will be held at a later date.
