Norman "Larry" Suttles, beloved father died peacefully at age 78 in Cumming, Georgia on June 21st, 2025 after a courageous battle with cancer and heart disease.

Larry was born in Hendersonville, NC, on October 31st, 1946 to Norman Oscar Suttles and Ruth Ida Pressley Suttles. He was preceded in death by his four sisters and his brother: Betty Vaughn, Frances Farrell, Windy Allen, Jeannie Pruitt Boggs and Terry Alan Suttles. After a few years, he relocated back to Virginia to take ownership of Bane's Upholstery, which he operated from 1986 to 2002 before selling and relocating to Atlanta.

Larry enjoyed life, people, his horses Rusty and Maude and his dogs from Dixie to Sadie. He loved horseback riding, camping, boating, cars, motorcycles and

adventures. Especially anytime that he got to spend on a boat or at the River. He was an extremely kind man that would give you the shirt off his back. He was always "researching" and was always open to discussion on the most random of topics.

Above all, Larry's son was his pride and joy. They were best friends who enjoyed many a camping, boating, fishing, skiing trips and in recent years some very memorable motorcycle adventures together along with his brother, nephew and many mutual friends.
