Pamela Charlton Davidson, 72, of Roswell, GA passed away unexpectedly on May 25, 2026.

She was born on December 4, 1953, in Warner Robbins, GA growing up in Manchester, IA and was the daughter of the late William and Lois Charlton (nee McCord).

Pam is survived by her husband, Tim Davidson, and four siblings, Deborah Peyton (nee Charlton) of Manchester, IA; Barbara Metreyeon (nee Charlton) of Nederland, TX; Bruce Charlton of Santa Cruz, CA; and Rebecca Charlton of San Antonio, TX.

Pam became a licensed Physical Therapist in Florida in 1978 and began her PT career. She and her husband Tim, relocated to Atlanta in 1985 where she worked for the Dekalb County Health Department. In 1990, Pam and Tim started a day care center for special needs children named SpecialCare. In 1995, Pam developed and they launched an aquatic therapy program for special needs children which continued up to her death. In 1998, Pam and Tim began the Serenity Dolphin Program so special needs kids could swim with dolphins in the Gulf of Mexico which ran for 21 years. Finally, in 2002 they developed the Paradise Program which allowed families with a special needs child to have a 5-star spa resort vacation in Cancun, Mexico which ran for 17 years.

Pam was loved by and will be greatly missed by her many patients and their parents, having touched the hearts of thousands of children throughout Georgia, Florida, and the world.

In memory of Pam, the family requests that you plant a flowering bush or tree in your yard to enjoy each Spring to remember Pam for many years to come. Like springtime, Pam was always optimistic!
