Patricia Ann Popham

Mrs. Patricia Newsome Popham age 84, passed away peacefully on July 7, 2022 at a local hospital.  Mrs. Popham was born in Rome, GA on December 23, 1937. She was preceded in death by her parents; Lossie Webb and Grady Newsome, her sisters; Doris N. Smith and Jacqueline (Jackie) Howell, and her beloved husband of 43 years, Harold J. Popham. Survivors include five nieces; Vickie Bagley (Bob) and Kim Teems (Rickey) of Rome, Phyllis Connelly, Judy Alden, and Lila Ann Spell (Tony) of South Carolina; several great nieces and nephews.  Mrs. Popham was a 1955 graduate of Rome High School. Prior to her retirement in January 2000, she was employed by Southlife Corporation for 31 years. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Rome.  In accordance with her wishes, a private celebration of life will be held at a later date with her family.
