Rachel Susan Isbell

Rachel Susan Isbell, 68, of Woodstock, Georgia, passed away peacefully on Sunday, July 12, 2026.

She was preceded in death by her infant son, Jason, and her brother, Mark Karnes.

Rachel is survived by her devoted husband, Robert Allen Isbell of Woodstock; her son, Josh Junkin of Cartersville; her cherished grandchildren, Katerina and Alex; her siblings, Kathy Hillard, Michael (Ruth) Karnes, and Matthew Karnes, all of Illinois; and her beloved dogs, Sweet Pea and Snapdragon.

Rachel's greatest joy in life was the time she spent with her family and friends. Whenever she had a free moment, she could often be found in the water, as swimming was her favorite pastime. She also had a love for camping, fishing, sewing, and tending to flowers. Above all, Rachel adored her dogs, Sweet Pea and Snapdragon, who brought her immeasurable joy and companionship. Rachel will be remembered for her kind heart, the love she shared with those around her, and the many treasured memories she created with her family, friends, and beloved pets.
