Ralph Eugene McCanless

Ralph Eugene McCanless, age 78, of Newnan, Georgia, passed away on Thursday, May 15, 2025. He was born December 20, 1946 in Florence, Alabama.

Preceding him in death were his parents George McCanless, Leona Blackburn, and Abia Blackburn, his brothers Lavoye “Sonny” McCanless and William Blackburn, and his grandson Noah Cater.

His memorial service will be held Saturday, June 28, 2025, at 1 p.m. at St. Luke’s Episcopal Church in Atlanta, Georgia.

Ralph was a loving father who will be greatly missed.

Survivors include his daughters, Kasie McCanless, Kathleen McCanless, Murphy Kelly; brothers Alton Blackburn, Dennis Blackburn; and grandchildren Maxwell Cater and Mage Cater.
