Robin Woodard Riley

August 26, 1963 — June 24, 2025

Macon

Robin Woodard Riley, 61, of Macon GA took one last journey through the universe on June 24, 2025.

She was born on August 26, 1963 in Macon GA to the late Sandra Ellis Rabun and Raymond Owen Woodard Sr.

Along with her parents, she was preceeded in death by her grandmother Irene Ruscak and step-father Jimmy Rabun. Also waiting to greet her on the other side are countless fur babies (and one lizard) whom she dedicated her entire heart to over the course of her life.

Her biggest passion in life was supporting the endeavors of her children and grandchildren. She was a dreamer, a believer of impossible things, who firmly believed in the dreams and aspirations of everyone she knew.

Robin made everyone she met better. She welcomed strangers into her life with open arms and believed in always fighting for the underdog. She wasn't just a Mama to her kids, but to every single friend those kids brought into her home over the years. No matter what, Robin would always be in your corner even if nobody else was. She found sparks of joy in all the little things. Every insect and flower. The planets and stars in the night sky. The sounds of happiness from the grandkids playing in the living room. The world is a better place for having her in it, and all of the little pieces of herself she gave to everyone she left behind.

She is survived by her husband Keith Riley, sister Renee Beach and brother Rowdy Woodard, daughter Crystal Jones and son-in-law Michael, sons Dustin & Jacob Riley and daughter-in-law Sydney. She also leaves behind grandchildren "related by blood and by love" Ashton Jones, Hayla Mae Pixie & Grayson Harvey, Hera Nicole Webb-Barron, and Thomas Oliver Riley, as well as numerous nieces and nephews. However, she will be missed most dearly by her children of the 4-legged variety: River, Doc, & Rose.

Per Robin's request, her family will be hosting a cookout and bonfire to celebrate her life and memory with extended friends and family at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks you to donate to or volunteer at your local animal shelter in her honor. She was known by all to do whatever she could to help every stray animal, and human, that she came across. However, the best way to honor her would be to just be kind.

"Y'all will see me in the butterflies, birds, and flowers."
