It is with great sadness that the family of Ronald E. Charpentier, 77 of Dallas GA announces his passing on Tuesday, December 9th, 2025 at his residence after a courageous battle with multiple illnesses.
Ron was born on March 27th, 1948 in Manchester, New Hampshire, the son of the late Roland and Theresa (Cote Lamarche) Charpentier. He grew up in Manchester, New Hampshire. He moved to Holiday, Florida in 1986 and then moved to Dallas, Georgia in 2005 .
He was a veteran in the Army and served in Vietnam.
Prior to his retirement, Ron installed floor covering.
Surviving members of his family include his devoted wife of 58 years, Helene (Moreau) Charpentier of Dallas Georgia; daughter, Christine Tillotson and husband, James Tillotson of Dallas Georgia; son, Jonathan Charpentier of Dallas, Georgia; two grandsons, Nathan and Zachary Tillotson; 3 great-grandchildren, Dimitri, Nova and Remi; one brother, Rick Charpentier of New Boston, New Hampshire.
His friends all knew him as Frenchie and his great-grandchildren knew him as Donald Duck. He loved to cook, dance, sing, play pool, swim and boating. And nothing brought him more enjoyment than listening to the Atlanta Braves game.
Services will be January 23rd, 2026 at the Georgia National cemetery in Canton at 1:30 p.m. 1080 Scott Hudgens Drive, Canton Ga 30114
Celebration of life will follow at the American Legion Post 111 from 3:00 p.m. to 5:30 p.m., 2587 Scoggins Road, Dallas GA 30157.
