Ryan Don Jensen, a husband, father, son, brother, and friend, was born on October 25, 1975, and went home on February 15, 2026, at the age of 50.
Ryan loved his sons dearly and made sure they were always taken care of, even to the very end. His sons were his joy, his love, and his life. The bond he shared with them was at the center of who he was, and that love will continue to be felt in their lives.
He was thrilled when he learned Hunter was a boy—he couldn’t wait to teach him everything about hunting and even named him Hunter. When Hunter arrived, Ryan had all of his friends meet this sweet boy, and every one of them adored him.
When he found out Zachary was a boy, he was so excited to pass down his middle name, which was also his father’s name. Zach was the apple of Ryan’s eye, and he loved that Zach also shared his passion for hunting, fishing, and the outdoors.
Connor was a wonderful surprise, and Ryan immediately wanted Connor to share his name with Chad so they both have the same initials (CAJ). Ryan loved watching Connor flourish, especially in wrestling, and took pride in the young man he has become.
Blake, the youngest, was deeply cherished by Ryan. He loved watching Blake grow into a wonderful young man. Ryan treasured seeing Blake experience milestones like his first deer and teaching him the joys of hunting and fishing. Blake came later in life, and Ryan valued those experiences even more.
Ryan was thrilled to hear he was going to be a grandfather to a beautiful little girl. While he would have cherished time with her, his legacy will live on through her and through his sons.
Ryan has always worked hard for his family. His strong work ethic began in his childhood in Utah, where he mowed lawns, worked on a farm, and even became a top door-to-door salesman for Grandpa’s Greaseless Donut.
That drive eventually led him to become an electrician, specializing in low-voltage systems. He also embraced entrepreneurship, building and running his own business. Nothing made him prouder than seeing his sons carry on the same dedication and commitment to hard work.
Ryan cared deeply for everyone around him and would offer anything he had to help someone in need. He fiercely defended those he loved and stood strong for the people in his life. His loyalty, generosity, and protective nature were defining parts of who he was.
Ryan had many passions, including his animals (Sasha #1, Sissy, Sasha #2 and even his 18 year old deft/blind cat Kitty), hunting, fishing, and camping with his boys and his close friends. Those moments outdoors created memories that will be treasured for years to come. He also loved to joke and play tricks on everyone he knew, bringing laughter and lightness to those around him.
He was a huge fan of Georgia and BYU football—you could always find him watching a game and enjoying the excitement.
Ryan loved his siblings deeply and cherished each one of them. As a brother, he shared lifelong bonds filled with memories, connection, and love that only family can understand.
He is survived by his sons, Ryan Hunter Jensen, Zachary Don Jensen, Connor Ashton Jensen, and Blake Austin Jensen; and a granddaughter on the way. He is also survived by his siblings, Darin Jensen (Melanie), Kristie Jensen Seawell (David), Melissa Jensen Allen (Monty), Chad Jensen (Carrie), and Brandon Jensen; as well as many nieces, nephews, and extended family members who will carry his memory forward.
Ryan was preceded in death by his parents, Stanley Don Jensen and Sandra Kay Karen Jensen, and his brother, Jeffery Todd Jensen.
Ryan was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.
