Sarah Ann (Lorenzo) Krilla

Sarah Ann (Lorenzo) Krilla, 76, of Newnan, Georgia, passed away peacefully on April 13, 2026. Born on October 2, 1949, in Franklin, Louisiana.

She was a woman known for her wit, strength, and enduring spirit, leaving a lasting impression on all who knew and loved her.

She was preceded in death by her husband and best friend, Dennis James Krilla; her stepdaughter, Pamela Charlie; her parents, Joseph A. Lorenzo and Louise N. Lorenzo; her sisters, Carolynn Sauce, Beverly Lorenzo, Sandra Sakwa, Lynnie Scully, and Cheryl Lorenzo Patterson; her brothers, Joseph A. Lorenzo III and Michael P. Lorenzo; her in-laws, Michael N. Krilla and Rachel Krilla; her sister-in-law, Michele Krilla Brannon; and her brothers-in-law, Larry Krilla, Robert Krilla, and Paul E. Krilla.

She is survived by her daughter, Rachel Krilla Rojas (Manuel R. Rojas); her step-son, Dennis J. Krilla Jr.; her grandchildren, Paul M. Rojas and Alixandra E. Hooker (Jeremy D. Hooker); her great-grandchildren, Grady C. Hooker and Elena E. Hooker; her siblings, Brenda Boudreaux, Rick Lorenzo, Gary Lorenzo, and Mark Lorenzo; and extended family members Richard Krilla, Catherine Hart, Rosemary and David Sigler, Steve Krilla, Patrick Krilla, and Raeliene and Ken Smith, along with numerous nieces and nephews.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Church of the Assumption, 211 Iberia Street, Franklin, Louisiana, in honor of Sarah and the hometown she loved so dearly.
