Sarah Ann (Rivaldo) Losapio, 78, of Canton, Georgia, passed away peacefully on March 31, 2026, surrounded by her loving family. Sarah was a strong and devoted woman, a protective Italian mother who was never afraid to speak her mind. Known for her strong spirit and unwavering honesty, she loved deeply and stood firmly by those she cared for. She often shared a piece of wisdom passed down from her mother: “Love many, trust few, and always paddle your own canoe,” a saying that reflected the way she lived her life. Sarah had a passion for cooking and baking, and she also enjoyed crocheting, reading, and watching her favorite television programs. After moving to Georgia, she developed a special appreciation for flowers and nature, finding peace and connection in their beauty. She was also deeply connected to her spiritual side, which guided her throughout her life. Sarah will be remembered for her strength, warmth, and authenticity. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Gary Losapio, of 45 years; her father, Joseph Rivaldo; her mother, Josephine (Denise) Rivaldo; and her brother, Dennis. She is survived by her sister, Shirley (Rivaldo)Sutton(Glenn), and her brother, Sam. She is also survived by her 3 children and multiple grandchildren: Joseph Damico (Theresa); grandchildren Nicholas and Christian Damico; great-granddaughter Cameo Damico. Richard Damico (Kim), their son Givanni Damico. Denise (Losapio)Crews (Jayson); their children, Siena, Jayce, and Jax Crews. She leaves behind several nieces and nephews, Annamarie (Cardinale) Pulver, who was especially close to her. Her presence and spirit will be deeply missed.
