Shirley Hill Brock

Shirley Hill Brock, age 92, of Dallas, Georgia passed away on March 21, 2026.

She was born February 11, 1934 in Weatherly, Pennsylvania to the late Ozella and Edward Hill.

Shirley worked at Turkey Point Nuclear Power as a secretary in Homestead, Florida. She loved to read, sew, play in the flowers and take trips to the beach.

She was preceded in death by her husband, John L. Brock, Sr.; brothers, Russell Hill, Edward Hill, Earl Hill, Donald Hill and Billy Hill; sister, Ruth Hill; daughter, Laurie Anne Brock and grandson, Matthew C. Brooks.

She is survived by her children, John Brock, Jr., Dianne Brooks and Daryl Brock; grandsons, Spencer & Brittany Brock, Austin & Lily Brock; great grandchildren, Jasper Brock; sister, Lorraine Anderson & children and niece, Kathy & Ray Diggins & children.

I remember thee in this solemn hour, my dear mother. I remember the days when thou didst dwell on earth and thy tender love watched over me like a guardian angel. Thou has gone from me, but the bond which unites our souls can never be severed, you live within my heart. May the merciful Father reward you with love & eternal peace! Amen.

The family will have a private service at the beach at a later date.
