Tamera "Tammy" Susan Pickelsimer

Tamera Susan “Tammy” Pickelsimer, 64, of Acworth passed away Monday May 1st 2023 peacefully at her home. She was a dedicated staff member of JJ Daniel Middle School for 30 years. Friendly and outgoing, Tammy never met a stranger. She cherished every moment spent with loved ones. She was an avid reader with a preference for romance and James Patterson novels, and a music lover with a fondness for classic rock especially Eric Clapton.

Preceded in death by her parents Dexter and Laura Smith; beloved husband James “Mike” Pickelsimer; and dearest nephew Lee Ledford. Survived by her son, Zachary; adored grandson, Logan James; older brother Randy; favorite sister-in-law, Sandra; favorite brother-in-law, Mark; nieces Renee, Christi, and Katelyn; great nieces and great nephews, Shaleigh, Mackenzie, Daphne, Hayley, Alexis, Colt, Liam, and Ian; and her BFF Tammy D.

She will be dearly missed.
