Tammy Lynn Ellis

Tammy Lyn Ellis, 62, of Rome, Georgia (formerly of Dallas, Georgia) passed away on December 6, 2024.

She was born August 24, 1962, in Marietta, Georgia, and was the daughter of the late Thomas Dempsey Ellis and Delores Jean Vise Ellis.

Tammy graduated from Sprayberry High School in 1980 and obtained a bachelor’s degree in engineering from Southern Polytech (Now Kennesaw State University). As a young adult, she enjoyed traveling as part of the local drum corps, Spirit of Atlanta, as part of the flag line. She enjoyed genealogy and was a Daughters of the American Revolution member in the Captain Edward Hagin Chapter. 

Surviving family members are sisters Zina Rena Ellis Cole (Scott) and Kelda Jean Ellis Williams (Tuffy), nieces Ellis Gabriél Williams Galloway (Stephen) and Annabelle Victoria Williams, nephew David Eric Cole (Lauren), and great nephew Jude Azariah Galloway.

A celebration of life service will be held on Friday, December 13, 2024.
