Terri Lea Barth

September 30, 1955 — August 2, 2024

Terri Lea Barth (Tudor), affectionately known as Mama T and who always had a smile on her face, passed

away peacefully and surrounded by family on August 2, 2024, in Kennesaw, Georgia. Born to Phyllis (Tiny)

and Edward Tudor on September 30, 1955 in Elgin, Illinois, Terri’s life was a tapestry of dedication, love, and

service to others.

Terri is survived by her husband, Steven; her children, Travis (Ramsey), Trevor (Sarah), and stepson Dylan

(Casey); her grandchildren, Aiden, Trenton, Thayer, Tabitha, Xavier, Ezra, Ari, and Esther; and her sisters,

Tyra and Tally. She is predeceased by her siblings, Tasha, Tyson, and Troy.

Terri was a cherished member of the Tudor family, often referred to as the “peacemaker” among her siblings,

Tyra (Ken), Tally (Rick), and the late Tasha, Tyson, and Troy. In 1982, she married her beloved Steven Barth in

Wauconda, IL, marking the beginning of a shared life filled with love and devotion. Together, they raised three

wonderful children: Dylan, Travis, and Trevor, who were Terri’s pride and joy.

Terri graduated from Wauconda High School in 1973 and went on to earn her degree as a Registered Nurse

(R.N.) from the Kishwaukee College of Nursing. She dedicated her career to saving lives and helping others,

working in health care for over 20 years at Condell Hospital in Libertyville, IL and another 10 years with Mercy

Health System in McHenry, IL.

In addition to being a devoted mother and nurse, Terri was an avid traveler. She visited Costa Rica to save the

turtles, Canada to view Niagara Falls, and southern Illinois to see the solar eclipse. She also traveled to Mexico

City and the Riviera Maya. She enjoyed visiting friends and family in Arizona, Tennessee, Texas, Virginia, and

Wisconsin. During her retirement, Terri saw the Golden Gate Bridge and the Hoover Dam and made countless

trips to Florida, Puerto Rico, and her beloved Hawaiian Islands.

When Terri was not traveling, you could find her in her garden planting flowers, laying mulch, and raking

leaves, always accompanied by her dog, Declan.
