Thomas Richard Lawson

On Wednesday, June 2, 2021, Thomas Richard Lawson, loving husband of 32 years and amazing father, brother, uncle, friend and son, was returned to God at the age of 54, in Canton, Georgia. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Robert Elmer Lawson and Myrtie Lawson (nee VanHuss), and his brother, Robert Elmer Lawson III. He is survived by his loving wife of 32 years, Amy Michelle Lawson (nee Butler), his son, Atticus James Lawson, his father, Robert E Lawson Jr. of St. Louis, Missouri, his mother, Francis Gail Lawson of Newland, North Carolina, his sister, Vanessa Gail Angrisani (David) of Shady Side, Maryland. He is also survived by five sisters-in-law and two brothers-in-law and their spouses, and numerous aunts and uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins who loved him dearly. He was blessed his entire life with a perpetual smile, a happy heart, and a glad hand for all with whom he had contact. He will be terribly missed and forever remembered by all who he touched in the course of his life. His life will be celebrated in Canton, Georgia.
