Tina J. Perryman

Mrs. Tina J. Perryman, passed away peacefully the age of 98 on July 25, 2026 in Smyrna, GA.

Born on November 3, 1927, Tina grew up in La Grange, GA and was the beloved daughter of the late Paul and Verdie Johnson and sister to the late Stanley and Larry Johnson, Kat Beacham and Mott Baxter. As a young woman, she embodied style, grace, and resilience, traits she carried throughout her entire life. In La Grange, she met and married the love of her life, George P. Perryman, with whom she shared 54 years of marriage before his passing in 2003. Together, they raised two sons in Smyrna, Steve and Greg Perryman, both of whom predeceased her. She is survived by her grand-daughters, Stephanie Busby of Smyrna, and Paulette DelGrosso, of Wilton Manors, FL, great-grand daughter, Marley Busby of Smyrna, nieces Vicki Beacham of Tucker, Glenna Talbert of Woodstock, Margaret McCann Becker of Sarasota, FL, Celeste Roberts of Evansville, IN, daughter-in-law, Connie Perryman of Dunwoody and nephew Glenn Roberts of Evansville, IN.

Tina leaves behind a legacy of love, generosity, and an unyielding sense of humor. Her memory will live on in the hearts of her family and all those who had the privilege of knowing her, including the many dogs and animals she mothered over her lifetime.

A memorial service will be held to honor Tina’s life at a later date.
